That’s right. We need you to straighten up, fly right and lead.
I think you are well qualified to lead as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army and the Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas.
You see, Jacie went to work with a regular, unblemished face, and left work with a broken face.
This is a fairly simple matter to me, it seems.
You go to work whole, come home busted.
Yet police in Hot Springs cannot seem to make an arrest.
On a case where an employee was assaulted in a business.
This, Sir, defies common sense.
And I can’t figure it out for the life of me.
How can a person go to work in a restaurant open to the public, get assaulted, and the police cannot solve this crime?
Or even make an arrest?
It’s disappointing to me.
And I am asking for your help.
You see, my forefathers dust bowled here to the Central Valley from the midwest, Southwest Missouri and Kansas, and worked farms and worked hard, and gradually improved their lives after their farms up and blew away.
It’s an odd thing, to have a farm blow away.
And I’d hate to think we’uns left you’uns behind to just attack people y’all don’t like and then get away with it.
Help us out here. Restore our faith in the Ozarks.
Tulare Dust, and a farmboys nose? Cliché maybe, but my family lived it just the same.
Fix this, Governor, please.
