Replacing an alleged liar with a known liar is not progress.
I had pinned my hopes on Andrew Janz, Deputy District Attorney in his race to beat Devin Nunes, Republican incumbent in California 22.
After all I had written about the xenophobia of Donald Trump back in 2015 and had watched as White Nationalists had taken over the GOP despite my admonitions against such networking.
Unfortunately Andrew Janz, as Progressives have written in the Fresno Bee, is “More of the same.”
Andrew Janz is the change we need. That is, no change at all! After all, better the devil you know.
He and his campaign manager Heather Greven are the same sort of swamp monsters and corrupt politicians that inhabit Washington D.C. now.
My great grandfather settled in Tulare during the Dust Bowl and I have a large, multicultural family in Tulare County.
Though I do not reside inside Congressional district 22, I do reside in Fresno County where Mr. Janz is a deputy district attorney for the Fresno County DA’s office.
I grew up with a coworker of Mr. Janz, Trevor Oppliger. Judge Oppliger was friends with my parents.
My uncle is retired CHP and was Public Affairs Officer for the Visalia CHP. He is currently working for Tulare County DA”s office as an investigator.
How do I know that Janz is a fundamentally dishonest politician?
He claimed that billboards that were funded by known scammer/grifter Scott Dworkin were put up by “constituents.”
The billboards were actually funded by Scott Dworkin, a well known scammer and PAC operator.
The visible link to click on Dworkin’s twitter account go to a Democratic Coalition landing page.
According to Splinter, the PAC Dworkin funneled the donations he raised to,

The coverage by the Fresno Bee which @janzforcongress correctly identified the PAC behind the billboards but did not explicitly link scammer Dworkin, instead identifying Nate Lerner as the spokesperson.
That a known scammer/grifter is raising funds is an omission that is highly relevant to this coverage by Fresno Bee.
Yet that fact was left out of coverage.
Why did Andrew Janz claim that the billboards were done by “constituents?”

Why, when I questioned well known Nunes suppoter @realfirenunes, did Heather Greven choose to attack me for asking the question?

The lies, deflection and character assasination/smears are precisley what is wrong with Congress NOW. Why send Janz to DC when we can have all that from him on Twitter and not give him any ability or power to do more damage?
