Gareth Davies has an extensive history of attacking customers of EmpireKred’s (formerly Empire Avenue) with violent threats and doxing in addition to other trolling and nefarious deeds.
Gareth Davies has been suspended by Twitter for doxing and violent threats, and additionally warned yet again for violent threats to my knowledge.
Keith Gill, AKA DigitalKeith, also a leader at EmpireKred was moderated by Instagram for cyberbullying for posting this picture which depicts a cannibalistic Gareth barbecuing a human leg.
Leaders paid or were gifted (in Nance Larson’s case) to run the company starting in late March, 2014 or so.
Some were promoted over that to Team Leaders or Brand Manager/Admins.
According to Yoriko Todd they (the Todd’s) offered $100,000 for Empire Avenue while they held out for $300,000.
Yoriko believes that Empire Avenue was losing $15,000 to $20,000 a month around August of 2014.
According to Yoriko, the admins wanted to keep Empire Avenue small, about 1000 accounts.

Yoriko noted that posting Google ads was a sign that the admins were out of ideas.
People were logging in, surprised that it was even still open.
Dups himself said this on another Empire Avenue players blog,
I’m not too worried that our audience is small, we purposefully have controlled access to Empire Avenue so that we can get all the changes in place, it’s hard to make the kind of changes we want to do while having a giant audience, once we start scaling, our opportunities to change will become limited and more challenging.
We’re getting close internally and we are now making critical hires to get us to the next level.
Their social media game game is anti-social in the extreme and that’s the way Team Leader Nance Larson and whoever the herd of people that think alike seems to want it.
Charles P. Garcia himself posted this on Paul Steinbreuck’s blog shortly after being appointed as Chairman of the Board.
Many players openly noted player retention and recruitment problems and questioned the direction of the game.
Gareth Davies modus operandi of attacks includes ostracization, violent threats and doxing customers.
How does having a person that is openly cyberbullying other players as a Leader help accomplish Charles Garcia’s goals?
I suspect it doesn’t.
Other customers of Empire Avenue openly speculated whether Empire Avenue had implemented a “Negative Growth Strategy” noting losses of active players stretching back over 18 months.
Examples of Gareth’s attacks on players:
Gareth was largely uncaring of other players.
And tweeted vaguely threatening tweets.
He also carried on a 3 year vendetta against Michael Q. Todd.
For the record, What I inquired about was why some customers were being abused and Chris Sandys made false allegations against me to try to keep that abuse “off the record.”
That attempt by Chris Sandys failed miserably, I suppose.
So what is the “Gareth The Cannibal” Hypothesis?
Gareth goes on a “rampage” attacks players and word of mouth advertising gets around and destroys Empire Avenue’s chances to be a successful business.
Who in their right mind announces their intent to cyberbully their own customer?
Gareth Davies does… And thppptttt. Into the toilet went Empire Avenue.

Gareth has for years been attacking other players of Empire Avenue.
Gareth’s very presence at Empire Avenue distorted the market in such a way that he drove off players from Empire Avenue to the point that Charles P. Garcia’s reported $500,000 investment in Empire Avenue is a complete waste if one’s goal is to run a successful, profitable business.
Empire Avenue fell procipitiously in popularity in October 2014 according to Alexa.
I have no idea why Empire Avenue ran itself as a business that would attack or allow to be attacked it’s own customers, but I’d absolutely recommend staying away from there until it’s fumigated.
Chris Voss of the Chris Voss show first stated it that I can see,
Over 5 posts on my blogs I documented issues with Empire Avenue, from their rogue volunteers, running a “wall of shame” on Brands, attacking Brands reputations online, not answering complaints, having a “goon squad” of endorsed volunteers attacking customers who complained, refusing to discipline internally thereby encouraging more attacks on Brands, etc. What I witnessed was the worst travesty in the annals of customer service I have ever seen. After a month of private discussions with EA to change things, I went public. Only then did they begin to change, but the attacks on me and others grew by their “goon squad.” In the end, I went to EA’s Angel Investor and EA had to shut down its Chat Room and Chat Mod “goons squad.” EA shamelessly has never apologized or produced it damning chat logs as promised by their CEO.
